Hi Crowdstorm, I am doing the National three peaks challenge this year and was looking at the range of womens HiTec boots and was wondering if any of the range would be suitable for this challenge. Ideally no more than £60 but take your advice.

I wouldn't normally recommend HiTec to be honest for a challenge of that nature. Would you be able to stretch another £20 to consider Berghaus or Keen? In my mind, they are better quality boots, more comfortable and better breathability. Have a look at: http://www.webtogs.co.uk/Boots/ - 09 Feb 10
