The camera's image quality is generally very good, especially considering its use of a genuinely wideangle lens. Overall, the impression is a good one, the build and appearance of the camera are consistent with the high standards that have characterized the SD/IXUS range and its all-round ease-of-use is also impressive.

An excellent camera
on 03/26/08Author: bddidier Probably the best "wide-angle" compact digital camera on the market. Really good colour reproduction, and even at ISO 400 the noise is kept to a minimum. As with most digital camera not great indoor with artificial light, but you can set up your own colour...

I've been using a Canon IXUS 860 IS this week. Probably the best compact digital camera I've ever used.
