Manufacturer's Description
The CASIO EXILIM HI-ZOOM EX-V7, is the World's slimmest digital camera with a 7x optical zoom lens, bringing large zoom capability to CASIO's stylish EXILIM series for the first time. Thinness is a defining quality of the EXILIM line, and the EX-V7 is no different as it easily fits in a shirt pocket or small purse. In recent years, a number of compact, high-performance digital cameras have appeared on the market, but there was always a trade-off between zoom power and camera size. Users who wanted to capture subjects at a distance have had to buy bulkier cameras. Others have made the hard choice to sacrifice zoom for portability.
The new EXILIM Hi-Zoom EX-V7 solves this problem, giving users the best of both worlds. It packs a cutting-edge, non-protruding 7x optical zoom lens in the same stylish body and compact size that people expect of any CASIO EXILIM. At last, an exceptionally portable, great-looking digital camera with a powerful zoom lens - just what the world has been waiting for.
The latest model also introduces mechanical CCD shift technology to the range. It combines with CASIO's Anti Shake DSP, which reduces blur from shaky hands or a moving subject by using higher ISO sensitivity and faster shutter speeds, and new motion analysis technology that uses the most appropriate ISO sensitivity and shutter speed to capture a moving photo subject. New motion analysis technology built into the new EXILIM Engine 2.0, even at high zoom settings, reduces most occurrences of image blur. From first-time photographers to seasoned pros, everyone will love this latest photographic marvel from CASIO.
Product Description
The EX-V7, from Casio's Exilim Hi-Zoom line, is the world?s first ultra-compact camera with a 7x optical zoom. The zoom lens doesn't extend outside of the camera but is completely built in to its elegant and compact metallic casing. Combined with the 7-million effective pixel CCD sensor, the powerful zoom allows you to take incredible pictures and capture the tiniest details, even for large-formats prints. The Exilim Hi-Zoom EX-V7 reduces the effects of blur caused by camera shake as it has a mechanical sensor stabilisation system with Motion analysis technology. This technology senses the speed and direction of a moving subject and adapts the camera's ISO sensitivity and shutter speed accordingly. The anti-shake DSP function compensates for camera movement to reduce the effects of blur. Adding to the user-comfort and user-friendliness you expect from a high-performance digital camera, the Exilim Hi-Zoom EX-V7 includes a 2.5? extra-bright LCD screen, several programmed scene modes, an easy-to-use and user-friendly icon menu guide, a slideshow function, a video editing function and Super Life battery power, letting you take up to 240 pictures in a single charge. The perfect balance between style and high-performance technology, the EX-V7 will win you over in a flash with all its possibilities.
