FIFA 08 for the Mac?

I've heard this game is going to be available for the Mac. is that true?

Currently EA have released four on the mac right now: Battlefield 2142, Need for Speed Carbon, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars for the Mac. Two others coming soon are: Madden NFL 2008 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 It would make sense for FIFA 2008 to be released too - and it will just be a matter of time, probably before Christmas

  • FIFA 08 More League One also-ran than Premiership champion. There's no denying that Pro Evolution Soccer was the undisputed title-winner on PS2. EA's FIFA series never matched the realism, precision or unpredictability of Konami's champion - regardless of how many times they refreshed the gameplay engine - although last year's FIFA 07 (PSM3#80, 84%) came close. On next-gen, EA are out of the tunnel first (Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is due on October 26th), but like Man United grinding out another 1-0 win, and despite impressive, yet baffling, claims of AI players making 1000 decisions a second - scrape away the surface gloss, and EA have stuck to their tried-and-tested formula with depressing predictability.
