Forget the wii, this is the best game on any console!

Author: darkhorse297
The wii was designed for games like this, the wheel feels great, it's comfortable to hold and easy to use and hilarious to watch others using.

Althought the basic idea of mariokart clearly hasn't changed much, there is lots of new features on this game. Bikes are now available as well as the traditional karts which add up to over 30 playable vehicles all with a custom paint job depending on which character you use. Speaking of which, nintendo has welcomed back some old as well as new characters to this game ranging from baby peach, birdo, bowser jr or funky kong. As well as this there are 32 tracks (16 new, 16 retro) new weapons, tricks, wheelies, manual drifting, streamline and much more.

Unlike previous versions, there are now 12 cars competing in each race, making it even more frantic than before, this is highlighter further with the multiplayer option. 3 of your friends and 8 AI players racing round a small track would be crazy enough, but add in the mariokart weapons and it is just insane, and i for one love it.

There is tonnes to keep you interested in this game, for the basic player who is only really interested in the multiplayer it's easy enough to unlock all the tracks and a few extras, but with so much to unlock through time trials and achieving high rankings on grand prixs this game will keep even the most battle hardened mariokarter absorbed.

This a truely irresistable game, the graphics, sound, playability and gameplay far outstrip anything else available on the wii at the moment, a must buy for any wii-owner, and for non wii-owners a great reason to get one or start saving up!
