Advantages: its fun, you get some spoilers, good content, nice features
Disadvantages: The school is complex to navigate around

In Order of the Phoenix, Harry is horribly disliked. After his confrontation with the dark Lord Voldemourt, the Ministry of Magic has been working with the wizard newspaper, The Daily Prophet, insulting Harry. People tend to go on the lies that are told here, so Harry is come across as a weirdo. The students bad mouth Harry through-out the game until his story gets believed in the end.
