I am able to view pictures on a TV

I am able to view pictures on a TV screen which are stored on a usb flash memory. However, I would like the images to appear as they do on the PC monitor ie NOT stretched out to fill the screen. The DVD player is a Toshiba sd290ek and the TV is a Toshiba 24z37b wide screen. The DVD player set-up allows a choice of 4:3 or 16:9 aspects and a choice of ‘view modes’- fill, height fit, width fit, auto fit, pan scan. There is a foot-note in the instructions that says ‘depending on the type of disc [!], you may not be able to view the mode as selected. I’d be grateful if you would let me know the answers to these two questions. Which combinations aspect and view mode is most likely to give the desired result? Do I need to look at the set up on the TV as well as on the DVD player. Best wishes, Laurence Pearl

  • Toshiba HD-EP35 HD DVD Player review Despite one or two minor niggles, this is certainly the de facto leader for the blue laser format on the market today, and the fact that it's offers you outstanding hi-def performance and a superb set of features. If you are one of the DVD die-hards, or simply don’t care having 5.1 analogue outputs and want the best possible DVD performance, then the Toshiba HD-EP35 is an ideal choice. originally on: TrustedReviews D. | Read full review
