More Brain Training (Nintendo DS)

I found the first brain training game a bit buggy on the handwriting side of things bit this one is definitely better. The Dr. guy is still annoying with his obvious comments but at least the games are challenging and quite amusing. I definitely think it does improve my brain skills or at least makes me think it does!

Pros

  • A good improvement with regards to handwriting recognition
  • Games are fun and amusing
  • Makes me feel like it has done a good brain workout

Cons

  • The Dr. Narrator bloke is quite tedious after a while

  • Sonic Rush Adventure Review: Sonic Rush To Ruin A Perfectly Good Game, more like. Retrospectively speaking, 2005's Sonic Rush wasn't the best thing since Jaffa Cakes, as was commonly touted upon its release. But it was still the best Sonic game in ages, and that's because it skimmed out all the extracurricular nonsense that we've grown to associate with Ol' Blue. No interminable minigames. No heat-packing 'Dark Sonic'. Clingy, sycophantic hangers-on kept to a minimum. It was a Sonic game based around going very fast in a number of 2D environments. Genius!
