Fantastic SLR for beginners and prosumers
on 04/23/06Author: a_cantabrian I can't really speak for this camera's quality from an expert point of view; I'm a beginner, a prosumer moving up from a compact, and I ordered the silver D50 because the black wasn't in stock. It's really good value for money with the lens, though...

@leelefever Couple of years back I put away enough in one year to buy Mrs. lopta a Nikon D50. Now I have no money to save. I need a job!

I think the Nikon D50 was the best $500 I've spent on tech. Now it's like $150 used.
