OMG They Killed Pro Evo!!!!!

Author:
In the words of Einstein: "PES2008 = Awful"

I have played EVERY PES since the first one and they were all better, in their day than this!!!!

[-Gameplay-] 3.5/10 OK in 2player, 1p is THE SAME AS EVERY PES EVER!!!

[-Graphics-] 6.5/10 - Not Fifa! I'm ignoring the atrocious replays! If they don't get the premiership - and I mean every team! I aint buying another PES!! EVER!!!!!!!! And more OFFICIAL stadiums too.

[-Sound-] Okish - best ever but it wasn't great before.

[-Online play-] negative googolplex/10 - A noob with 3 GCSE's below C and an etch-a-sketch could have made this work better; AND THIS IS WHAT I BOUGHT THE GAME FOR!!!!!!!!

[-Overall-] 0/10 - If you like online gaming; this aint for you sonny Jim. Buy Pro 6 or Fifa, although the last Fifa I played was in 2000, I have looked at pictures; so my guesstimate is that even Fifa can't be worse than this, unless the online play has hyper super turbo championship alpha lag too, which I'm sure it does not.

The PS3 Version is supposed to be worse, somehow - do you get strapped into a chair, controller glued to your hands, on ML with ML players, and get electrocuted for conceding goals??!!!

What I wanted is a game THAT IS FUN ONLINE. Besides the obvious I would have liked a balanced game between PES 4 and 5. They need to make it so you can kick the ball a realistic distance - keeper to keeper and blast it out for a goal kick from inside your own half!! Also the power gauge should be the same in set pieces and corners and the amount of power should not change no matter where you are or what you are doing, unless you're off balance or under challenge. Basically somewhere between an 8 goal thriller and a 0-0. Online, PES08 is two teams of drunk pensioners who have managed to discover the magic of instant trans-location, only you don't control when they use their "magic" powers.

Q & As

  • Is Halo3 too shortRight a new one. Is the Halo 3 campaign too short? I managed to finish it in 5 hours, not boasting but when you're spending £40 on a game you do expect it to last a bit longer from: Rupert W. | 22 answers
