Sony DSC-S730 - battery problem!

Author: N/A
After reading countless good reviews about the Sony DSC-730 and owning a very good Sony Camcorder, i decided to buy it. Camera looked good, simple to use but after 20 or so pictures and a couple of short videos, batteries ran out. Replaced and same again. 60 pictures - 3 sets of batteries!! Really don't think this is practical, can't possibly carry a batch of batteries every time i take the camera out. Camara going back. Had a cheap Olympus camera before this, took brilliant pictures and batteries lasted weeks. Off to the Olympus shop then!

Q & As

  • Going from 300D to 40D, good idea? How is it for astronomy photography?I've been in the market for a new camera body since my 300D's processor fried itself. How does the 40D stack up for the price? Also, I really want to get into astrophotography as well (though I know nothing about astronomy -- so that's also new to me). Is the 40D any good for that? Or should I maybe be scouring eBay for a use 20Da? from: Josh C. | 12 answers
