When have the UK EVER had a product released that has had a massive hike up in price compared to our international cousins?

NEVER.

Why anyone expected any different this time around I'm not sure...

That said, the game is fantastic. I have an imported version on my PS3 but I love it so much I'm planning to buy an Xbox 360 & Rock Band when its released so I can play with my friends on-line. Three of my friends have already bought an Xbox in preparation of the Rock Band release. Yes thats right. They only bought an Xbox to play Rock Band. Factor in the cost of that purchase & it brings the whole Rock Band experience to roughly £300. After playing the game all three of them were happy to pay this price.
