superb

I recently spent days, no weeks researching lcd tvs and eventually decided on this little beauty.....

The setup of the tele was simple to say the least, out of the box and watching tele in ten minutes. The digital receiver built into the tv is very good indeed found all channels no worries. It also has a ci (common
interface) slot for pay tv.

Picture is very good with sd signal and outstanding with hd content...I have not encountered any screen blurr as of yet which i know plagues alot of lcd tvs due to fast moving images. I was advised to get this model in the end instead of the 100htz model lxd70 because you are not able to turn the 100htz on and off on that model. This can be detrimentle to the picture quality some times believe it or not, as i have witnessed with my own eyes at my uncles house.

Connectivity is good with 2 hdmi slot, 2 scarts, 1 component,1 pc(15pin dsub), s-video,video (rca pin) and 2 x audio l-r.

sound quality is good and plenty loud enough for me, offers all the usual settings.ie bass, treble,5.1 surround mode (with external speakers),virtual surround.

The build quality is second to none and looks very handsome either turned on or off.

I didnt buy mine at amazon but often buy regually from them, i actually got mine from richer sounds for £400.00 + £40.00 for the 5 year panel protection. I also bought the Panasonic dmr-ez27eb dvd recorder for £149.99 hence the tv only being £400.00. The viera link between the two devices works well and reduces the need for the dvd remote as both can be operated by the tele remote.

All in all a great tv im actually more impressed with it than i thought i would be especially the space saved.
