i have managed to save £1000 approx for a new tv, looking for 46" 1080p but dont want to spend the money on the wrong tv can you help.

Hi Derek, The one you've outlined above is actually a really good TV but it twice your budget though. For a 46" TV with full HD, around £1000 - I'd go for the Sony Bravia KDL-46W5500 which also has built in freeview. You should get it for around £50 over your budget - good deal, and good quality tv that should last you many years.
