Teva Terra
General comments: These things are never off my feet around the house and during summer time. They are excellent and can't be more highly rated. I have used these in a number of countries and situations and they are great. They get mostly used in summertime when I'm out cragging so I can pull my climbing shoes off and simply velcro up the Teva's, saves on putting a pair of approach shoes. The soles are extremely rugged and I have used them in Austria walking the Tirol. A nice feature is the slightly curled toe section which is just enough to protect your toes from getting bashed. The straps are snug and don't itch your feet in any way. Pros: The curled toe section to protect your toes and the rugged sole offers loads of grip. Even managed a few boulder problems in them which says a lot for their grippiness. Bombproof design. Quick drying.Cons: Without doubt the smell! Once you've been walking around in these for even the shortest amount of time you take them off and nearly faint from the stench. I don't really have bad foot odour as a rule but a stint in these and you're really suffering. Mine are that bad that they have to be left outside in summer. Another bad point is the price. ?65 is a lot of money for a pair of sandals.
