These motors are highly efficient and result in battery runtimes up to 50% longer compared to an equivalent brushed motor. The DHR 171 has two operating modes: rotation with hammer for rapid drilling into concrete and masonry or rotation only for metal or wood. Whatever the material, this unit gives fast and efficient results without the inconvenience of a trailing mains cable. Additional features include a vibration-absorbing handle, variable speed trigger with forward and reverse and a built-in L.E.D spotlight.
