A superb little tea set or coffee set which is handmade & marked with the makers stamp Z Co. a very attractive set, it is made in stoneware & has been hand thrown. the set is glazed in a green/brown glaze which has a gorgeous sheen. the coffee pot stands at 180mm & has an elegant spout & sturdy handle. it pours very well. the lid is also hand thrown & fits snugly down into the gallery of the rim of the pot. the milk jug is 100mm tall & stands on a little foot which mimics the cups. the sugar bowl is large & stands at 90mm tall & 100mm in diameter. it has a close-fitting lid which has also hand thrown & has the makers stamp too. there are five cups to accompany this set. they are petit & would suit espresso or Chinese tea. the jave a cream & caramel glazed interior & they come with their own saucers. the cups are 45mm tall & 70mm in diameter. the saucers are 110mm in diameter. this is a beautiful little set in wonderful original vintage condition.
